The Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr Rastogi has been with the company for over 20 years and has had an all-round experience of sugar sector during this period. He is widely acknowledged as a thought leader in the industry.
Mr Rastogi is a mechanical engineer from IIT with a post-graduation in management from IIM. He brings strong theoretical background, professional ethics and values to his role. He has been instrumental in achieving excellence in plant operational metrics and transforming the business into a technological leadership position in the industry. He is an active member of several industry forums and has driven important policy regulatory changes in renewable energy space. He is a member of the governing council of Co-generation Association of India and acting head of UP Sugar Mills Co-generation Association. He believes that the sugar sector holds immense potential in providing food and energy security for the country which is going to be one of the most important developmental prerequisites in the next 5-10 years. This potential he believes can only be realised with the right mix of regulations, sustainable agricultural practices, connect with the farmers, modernisation and professionalisation of the industry. He is committed to working towards making this happen.
